It's Terrific to Be Two

Adelyn officially turned two last week on Wednesday! We can't believe our baby girl is already two! She is growing up so fast! Grandma Jerrilyn, Grandpa Dennis, Grandma Cindy, Grandpa Mike and the Brennan's were able to join us for Addy's birthday party, despite the terrible snow storm. Auntie, Uncle Tyler, Mycah and Grandpa Mike were able to join us on Adelyn's actual birthday on the 15th. Addy was even thrown a little birthday party at daycare.

Addy was so excited about her sled, she thought she would practice riding in it with daddy!

My Uncle David made a beautiful family tree puzzle for Addy. It has pictures of both sets of grandparents, Adam and I, and Addy. Thanks David!

The Holidays

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, which we managed to spend in only Green Bay. It has been awhile since we haven't traveled for a holiday. In the morning, my brother-in-law, Tyler and I ran the Turkey Trot. Running 5 miles to start turkey day wasn't a bad idea! I got to eat as much pie as I wanted! :) Adam's mom and dad and the Brennan's came to our house for lunch. The kids had a fun time playing together.

Then we went to the Beckett's house and enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. We weren't terribly hungry, but we managed to eat again! :) The following day, after a little bit of Christmas shopping, we headed out to find the perfect Christmas tree. Addy tried on her new jacket, snowpants, and boots.
We bundled her all up and got ready for the car ride.

Addy found a little light reading material for the ride. :)

It was really windy that day. Luckily Adam found the just right tree the minute we got out of the car. Addy was not enjoying the wind and just kept repeating "I no yike it!"

Here are some other random pictures. Enjoy!

Addy insisted on eating her noodles on her stool with her plate on the floor. Sidney is playing guard dog just to make sure nothing spills on the floor.

Monkeying around!
