Off and rolling...

Adelyn has spent months training for the first time she'd roll over.

She spent a lot of time practicing her finished pose.
She spent a lot of time studying other things that roll... And, she spent a lot of time working with her personal coach...
On Sunday afternoon, at the age of five months and two days, her hard work finally paid off. To our delight, we were able to record the whole thing.

5 Months Old

Adelyn turned 5 months old on Friday! We can't believe how fast the time has flown by! She is still working on rolling over and supporting herself while sitting up. She continues to be a pretty easy going baby. She is doing great at daycare. Her bed time has become much earlier now. She does a good job sleeping at night too. I went yesterday and bought her 6 month clothing. She is becoming to long for her 3 month stuff. Let me tell you, shopping for girls' clothes is tons of fun. It was really hard to decide what to get because everything was so CUTE!

Adelyn has a cold now. We think she was trying to figure out where to hide the sucker. :)

So big!

Adelyn Update

Adelyn is finally back to herself again. She is smiling, laughing, and trying to roll over. She weighed 11 lbs. and 14 oz. at the doctor's two weeks ago. She lost some weight while she was sick, but her appetite has picked up quite a bit lately, so we will see how much she has gained when we go to get her 4 month shots on Tuesday. She is now sleeping in her crib in her own bedroom and had no problems making the transition (I think it was harder on mom than on her). She doesn't nap quite as much as she used to, but she has started going to bed earlier at night. To our surprise... she has started to cut her first tooth!!! I saw it for the first time today. Just a little white dot, but I felt it tonight and it is pokey. I thought babies are supposed to start teething around 6 months, not 4 1/2 months. :) Enjoy the pictures! Thanks for checking in.

Adelyn loves to snuggle/sleep on the couch with dady while he watches a movie

After our walk this afternoon

Addy loves to grab her toes

It's not so easy to hold up a 92 percentile head with a body in the 12th percentile for weight and 19th percentile for height! :)

Future so bright... you gotta' wear shades!

Thanks for the hat Grandma Cindy!

Still not feeling the best

Grandma Sutter and Grandma Cindy came to take care of Adelyn while she was getting better.

You guessed it! This was Adam's idea.
