Plaster and Garage Doors

More plaster went on today and the garage doors were put in.

Are we done yet...

We stained today. Then stained some more. Then polyurethained. It's a good thing we had lots of help. Thanks Mom, Aubrey and Terry.

Drywall

The drywall went up on Thursday and Friday.

More Siding

The siding crew got more done today...

Warming up...

The insulation went in today and when I walked into the house at 7:30 tonight, I could tell it was a lot warmer. They still have to do the ceiling yet. They also progressed with the siding too.

A Touch of Color...

Big Changes will be happening all week. The plumber was at the house today, as well as the electrician, siding crew, and mason. We now have stairs, power, water, siding and brick. At least the beginning of each. The insulation crew will be there tomorrow, followed by drywallers later this week. We'll keep things updated...

Moving Right Along...

There have been a lot of small things happening on the house for the last couple weeks. This week there will be a lot more visible changes. Tomorrow the roofers come, the fireplace goes in, the plumber starts and the framers finish up. We have a meeting with the electrician on Friday morning. (The builder tells us he will start and finish wiring on Friday).

On Monday of next week they will pour the basement floor, and the siding will start going on.

We will of course try to document as much of this as possible depending on the availability of the photographer. Stay tuned...
