A Delightful December

December came and went in a flash. We were fortunate to spend time with family and friends throughout the month. During the first week of December, we took a ride on The Polar Express. First we listened to a reading of Polar Express and then we rode on a train to see Santa. It was wonderful!

The kids wore their pajamas just like in the book.

Once again Adam, Justin, Mike and Eric took a trip to the cabin. On Sunday, we were all able to get together for the first time in a long time. It was wonderful to see everyone. It was the first time we have had all of our kids together too!

In the middle of December, we went to the Frank family Chrismas. Here Adelyn is trying to entertain herself on the long car ride.

The next day we celebrated Adelyn's first birthday with both of our families. Two birthday parties in one week; what a lucky girl!

Addy more or less played with her cupcake than ate it.

Christmas Eve we celebrated with Angie, Tyler, and Mycah. We went to church, ate dinner, and then opened presents.

Christmas day Addy woke up to more presents. I think she enjoyed the paper and boxes the most!

We spent the next day with Adam's family.

We even spent a few days relaxing and playing at home.
Addy enjoyed playing with her new toys and some of her old toys as well.

We finally celebrated Chrismas with my parents this week.

We were very fortunate in 2009 and we hope 2010 brings the same. Happy New Year!
